Welcome to Caramel House.
A brand new and renovated space, ready to welcome your "candy".

our station

Our school was made with a lot of love, passion and care, laying the best foundations so that our little friends feel like they are in their second home. The aim of the Karamelospito is to nurture the children with love, values and empathy, concepts quite important for their future course in both their academic and social development.
The goal of our nursery is for children to have the opportunity to approach learning by exercising all levels of their intelligence. This will take place through daily activities, which our teachers curate and design to cater for all intelligence types.
In addition, our school contributes not only to the identification of the most developed intelligence of each child, but also to the development of the remaining types of intelligence. They also enable children to take part in active and experiential experiences, in constant interaction with the right materials, educational equipment and the right people within the learning environment.
our philosophy

"Don't ask how smart a child is, but in what way he is smart!" "It's not how smart you are that matters, what really counts is how you are smart!"
Howard Gardner
What kind of intelligence does your child have more of? Do you know the concept of multiple intelligence? Psychologist Howard Gardner with his theory of multiple intelligences challenged the idea that there is only one intelligence and that it can be measured simply through the IQ index.
Who is Howard Gardner and what is his work?
Howard Gardner is considered "the father" of the theory of multiple intelligences, a theory that changed the map of education worldwide. He is an American researcher, professor of Medicine and Neurology at the Boston University School of Medicine, professor of learning at Harvard University, cognitive and developmental psychologist. Gardner formulated this theory after research he conducted in cognitive psychology, psychometrics, neurology, physiology and anthropology. Its major success lies in its differentiation from traditional conceptions of intelligence and psychometric tests that quantify intelligence by proposing qualitative approaches.
The 9 types of intelligence.
Howard Gardner originally identified 7 different types of intelligence. According to Gardner, this theory, which emerged from cognitive-type research, "reveals the extent to which students have different 'minds' and therefore learn, remember, perform, and understand in different ways." It argues that each person has a different learning style and different types of intelligence that they use in their everyday life. While some may learn most easily in a language environment (reading and writing), others are taught more effectively through the logical-mathematical route, while others benefit more from kinesthetic intelligence (learning by doing something with their hands). Each person is possessed of each type of intelligence but there is always a pre-eminent, dominant intelligence. The study of multiple intelligences began in the early 1980s with Howard Gardner and continues to this day. Specifically, he argued that types of intelligence are used simultaneously and tend to complement each other.

the types of intelligence:
It concerns the production of language and is related to spoken and written words. They are characterized by ease in using words and language and understanding instructions and word meanings. They are usually good at reading, writing, storytelling and remembering words and dates. They learn best through reading, note taking and discussion. They learn foreign languages easily as they have a high verbal memory and ability to understand syntax and structure.
Musical intelligence is the ability to enjoy, perform and compose pieces of music. It is associated with sensitivity to movement, rhythm and timbre of sound as well as the emotional nuances of music. People with musical intelligence learn best through reading. In fact, they use songs or rhythm to learn or memorize information.
This type of intelligence is about the ability to use motor skills in a coordinated manner. People with high kinesthetic intelligence use their body to solve problems, use ideas and express feelings, imitate, express themselves through the body. So they learn better through physical activity and have a higher physical memory.
It is related to numbers, logic, deductive and inductive and deductive reasoning skills. People with logical/mathematical intelligence have special abilities to reason, recognize abstract patterns, do scientific thinking and research, and perform complex calculations.
This type of intelligence is associated with the ability to recognize and connect information from the natural environment. It was only added to the theory in 1996. People with high naturalistic intelligence learn best when the topic under discussion is directly related to nature and the environment.
Relates to the ability to observe and manipulate objects mentally People with high spatial intelligence have strong visual memory, artistic tendencies, and vivid imaginations. At the same time, they have very good spatial orientation and good visual-motor coordination.
Intrapersonal intelligence is the ability to understand my deepest feelings, desires, and ideas. It is about the ability of personal knowledge directed towards our own self.
It is about the ability to understand other people's purposes, their motivations, their point of view, to cooperate and interact with others.
People with a high index of this type of intelligence are strongly concerned with issues of existence and non-existence, good and bad, right and wrong.

Verbal / linguistic
intelligence
It concerns the production of language and is related to spoken and written words. They are characterized by ease in using words and language and understanding instructions and word meanings. They are usually good at reading, writing, storytelling and remembering words and dates. They learn best through reading, note taking and discussion. Music
intelligence
Musical intelligence is the ability to enjoy, perform and compose pieces of music. It is associated with sensitivity to movement, rhythm and timbre of sound as well as the emotional nuances of music. People with musical intelligence learn best through reading. In fact, they use songs or rhythm to learn or memorize information.

Kinesthetic
intelligence
This type of intelligence is about the ability to use motor skills in a coordinated manner. People with high kinesthetic intelligence use their body to solve problems, use ideas and express feelings, imitate, express themselves through the body. So they learn better through physical activity and have a higher physical memory.

Logic / Mathematics
intelligence
It is related to numbers, logic, deductive and inductive and deductive reasoning skills. People with logical/mathematical intelligence have special abilities to reason, recognize abstract patterns, do scientific thinking and research, and perform complex calculations.

Naturalistic
intelligence
This type of intelligence is associated with the ability to recognize and connect information from the natural environment. It was only added to the theory in 1996. People with high naturalistic intelligence learn best when the topic under discussion is directly related to nature and the environment.

Spatial
intelligence
Relates to the ability to observe and manipulate objects mentally People with high spatial intelligence have strong visual memory, artistic tendencies, and vivid imaginations. At the same time, they have very good spatial orientation and good visual-motor coordination.

Interpersonal
intelligence
Intrapersonal intelligence is the ability to understand my deepest feelings, desires, and ideas. It is about the ability of personal knowledge directed towards our own self.

Interpersonal
intelligence
It is about the ability to understand other people's purposes, their motivations, their point of view, to cooperate and interact with others.

Existential
intelligence
People with a high index of this type of intelligence are strongly concerned with issues of existence and non-existence, good and bad, right and wrong.
